Liz Beard (b. 1985) currently lives and works as a painter in New York City. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a BFA in Studio Art. Liz went on to study with Paul Ingbretson in The Boston School of painting tradition, attended The Academy of Realist Art, and graduated from The Grand Central Academy under the tutelage of Jacob Collins. Additionally, Liz has taken part in The Hudson River School Fellowship for two years.
After graduating from the Academy, Liz was honored to have completed a prestigious multi-figure narrative painting commissioned for the CS Lewis institute in Ohio. Liz was also was accepted to an Artist Residency in Tuscany, Italy where she cultivated her interest in narrative figure painting. She has since been developing a body of work that is informed by her love of humanity and her development of classical painting skills.
