Sarah was born in Petersburg, VA, with a passion for art and an appreciation for the past. She studied in Florence, Italy, before graduating from Brenau Women’s College in 1993. She spent two years painting at The Ecole Albert Defois with Ted Seth Jacobs, and in 1997 moved to New York to work under Jacob Collins at the Water Street Atelier. She has had sell-out shows at major galleries such as Spanierman Gallery, New York City; Meredith Long & Company, Houston; and the John Pence Gallery, San Francisco. She has been featured in many magazines one of America’s most talented young painters.
