Welcome to the Showcase: Landscape Sketches & Studies from the Hudson River Fellowship Artists! Join us at The White Hart on Sun, Jun 30 2024 at 11:00 AM for a stunning display of artwork inspired by the local natural beauty. Take a stroll around the lawn and immerse yourself in the careful observations and sensibilities of these talented, classically-trained artists. All works are for sale. The event is free and open to the public.
Hudson River Fellowship is a coveted prize, awarded annually to twenty classically trained emerging landscape painters who convene for a collaborative fellowship in various stunning locations of the United States. Currently, the artists stay in dorms at The Hotchkiss School. Founded in 2009, the residency is a program at NYC’s Grand Central Atelier (GCA), the world’s leading destination for artists seeking an authentic classical art education.

We invite you to attend our new exhibit of over 75 works by 20 artists from the renowned Grand Central Atelier in Brooklyn, NY. Meet the artists, see the portraits, figures, landscapes, and florals they’ve created from life. Go home with a museum-quality work of art.
Following the show, the artists will stay in residence at Willow over several days and fan across southern Vermont to paint plein air landscapes. You may volunteer your property to be the featured subject of new paintings and drawings.

From 2015 – 2020, Eleventh Street Arts was an art gallery for contemporary drawings, paintings and sculptures. In cooperation with the collaborative artist studios of Grand Central Atelier, Eleventh Street Arts presented new work that invoked, challenged, and celebrated the classical tradition. This gallery was run by our Resident Artists. This site may be resurrected again, time will tell!
