Lineage: Grand Central Atelier Faculty Showcase

“Lineage” spotlights the exceptional work of the GCA faculty, whose works bridge foundational, time-honored techniques with contemporary creative vision. The show will feature dozens of works from GCA instructors which demonstrate that traditional craftsmanship remains a vibrant, evolving force in the modern art landscape.
“The exhibition highlights how rigorous academic training informs, elevates, and revitalizes modern artistic expression,” said Dale Zinkowski, a faculty member of Grand Central Atelier. “Our goal is to compose a show that celebrates a group of artists working in a manner that traces a lineage prior to the invention of photography.”
“All of the work will be created from primary sources, such as direct observation or imagination”, said Patrick Lyons Neilson, a faculty member of Grand Central Atelier.
